Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Blast Furnace Powered Boats

Boat and a blast furnace crafted together on a smiting table would make a smelt boat. Players would have same controls as a normal boat. And boat would move faster but only when player is smelting ores. Player would be able to smelt ores while traveling across oceans or along a river.

    As much as would love this to be in game it can't be because the fire from the furnace would burn down the boat seeing that it's made out of wood.

    No it would burn the boat fire would be contained in the furnace. With it in the boat the furnace could be need a little to if needed

    I think the Furnace should be at the back like a engine and it should only be able to hold one person

    It is an excellent idea, especially when they announced chests in a boat. But what about regular furnaces on the back?

    I think you should be able to place it inside of the boat and take it out so the boat would move forwards automatically and you can fuel it with coal.

    What if there were 3 tiers, (boat, boat w/furnace, boat w/blast furnace) A decent weakness could be that when powered, it will keep going until it crashes, is destroyed, or runs out of fuel.
