"Cannot sleep with monsters nearby" change proposition

Maybe make it do that either only on Hardcore mode or Hard difficulty you cannot sleep with monsters nearby? It makes sense for you to be able to sleep through the night when there are monsters on Easy, and on Normal maybe there could be a mob cap? Like, you cannot have too many near? This has bothered me for years now, I was hoping you could make this change.
