Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

mobs inside ice

I think it'd be cool if I saw fish frozen inside an ice block. when the block is mined, you free the mob! also, I would like to see strays and skeletons inside ice blocks as well in an ice spikes biome!

Maybe even mobs extinct from the minecraft world like mammoths or dinosaur bones

Maybe glacier and ice spikes biomes could house these. Large ravines made up entirely of ice could be found closer to the center of colder biomes. Some of the ice could hold fossil structures, similar to those found under deserts and swamplands.
