Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Taller Tree Trunks

This sounds like a simple change, but it would improve gameplay in forested areas MASSIVELY.

Basically, make it so that all trees must have at least four blocks of trunk before the leaves are spawned.

It's so annoying getting stuck when trying to run through forests - if the ground is a block higher ahead of you and there are short trees it's a real pain running around them. Here are my three points for doing this:

* It's annoying as hell to navigate around short trees

* It's not as realistic

* Short trees simply do not look good aesthetically

    Hmm. I'm not sure this should be in this category. It seems to be a Biome issue. And you are absolutely correct, this is an amazing idea. Going though forests is so much of a pain, I actively avoid them. The only forest biomes I like are Jungle and Dark Oak.

    Nobody builds in forests nobody lives in forests.  If trees averaged leaves starting 4 blocks high, this would be very different.  Then you could cut down a few trees for a clearing and build something, and it would be easy enough to move about.  Simply make forests generate taller on average.

    They need to be taller than that! I live in a heavily forested area and I can promise you, the trees are very, very tall. The oaks are fifty+ feet easily. 

    If trees are short to try and give an overgrown forest feel, repurpose jungles bushes, kill the grass, go crazy on the leaf litter and bushes, and you've got a great start. Splash in a few of the shorter trees for flavor: there needs to be a lot more taller trees than shorter trees. 

    Also, please give the Azalea it's own wood set.
