Allow for sneak placing on scaffolding

Attempting to place a solid block off the side of a scaffold tower is extremely difficult and dangerous. You cannot sneak and go to the edge of the block like you would normally, as that would take you down the scaffolding. I am suggesting that the player should be able to hold sneak and the jump button like they can in creative flight to lock themselves in position but still get the benefit of sneak placing blocks.

 

Currently if you attempt to sneak + jump in a scaffolding you just go up, rather than staying in position. This is just a slight change that I feel would make a big difference and add more usability to scaffolding.

    I absolutely agree the inability to crouch on scaffolding makes it so much harder to use for literally it's main purpose.

    I think your suggestion is a neat solution that only adds a feature and has no drawbacks.

    One thing came to my notice when I was working with scaffolding. If you only had one scaffolding with no blocks underneath, you can enter sneak mode and crouch without falling.

    I was going to suggest something much more convoluted. This is way better.
