Desert Regrowth

I have recently made a world in a desert with a village, i have set a challenge that i cannot go out and find trees, but still do what i would normally do in a world. This is hard due to the fact that i need sticks to make tools but dead bushes so not grow back. So I came up with the idea that you guys (the Mojang team) should add a new feature which allows for things like dead bushes, flowers, and grass to grow back from nothing after being removed. Of course you need to do this in a smart way so that an entire desert isn't covered in dead bushes
