Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things! Also, no furniture. No guns.

I am not sure how they would implement it, but since it's not up to me, I vote.

But in real life to prevent clustering they need a dispersal system, and will need a few blocks of space.

    That’s a great idea!

Make saplings have something like a 10% chance of planting themselves when all of the following conditions are met:

    * Dropped from leaves being broken. This prevents accidentally dropped saplings from becoming planted, e.g. when you break a chest that has saplings in it.

    * Fall onto a suitable soil type and in a suitable biome for the species of tree.

    * No other sapling or log blocks within a certain distance that depends on the species. This prevents overcrowding and partially simulates the effect of the canopy on light levels at the forest floor.

The 10% chance simulates germination failures due to natural causes such as animals eating seeds, bad soil, excessive moisture, etc.
