Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    Let’s extend this post:

    What: Place a map on a Lectern

    Why: gives a diagonal surface to place maps on as you would have in a drafting desk

    How: Place the map, Map covers the diagonal surface of the lectern, And is visible as it would be in an item frame, click to rotate the map as with item frame, each rotation adds 3 levels to the redstone output (beginning with 3 for a map in the default position)

    Uses:  Map art display, Regular map showcase, variant on lectern redstone
