Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Using the Loom to get string

The Loom should have a option to craft string out of wool.

    It does seem strange that you can turn string into wool, but can't turn wool into string considering that IRL the opposite is basically true. Some may think that would make it too easy to get string, but the biggest need is to be able to make bows for dispensers. Unless you build a big mob farm it can be hard to get enough string for some complex builds, and in peaceful mode there are few ways to get string at all.

    I think it is a great idea because it will give more functions to the loom. Some of the new tables seems to not be that useful so giving them more uses Will make them more necesary for the game.

    This is crucial. The string-to-wool craft was a fantastic idea. It made biomes without sheep more survivable, because you could craft wool from string and thus make a bed even though there were no sheep. The problem is, with 1.18 the new mob spawn rules have made spiders A LOT rarer. Consequently STRING is a lot rarer, and string is necessary for bows, crossbows, fishing poles, and scaffolding. Making the string-to-wool craft reversible, possibly using the loom, would mitigate the problem of string becoming rarer.

    Would love these. Scaffolding is awesome, but to make a lot of them you currently basically have to find a spider spawner.
