Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Terracotta / clay usage

Terracotta and clay currently feature no new "usage", they are just nice to look at. An idea to change this would be: If a crop is growing on top of a field, which has a piece of terracotta/clay underneath, the crop grows twice as fast (Explanation: The terracotta/clay would preserve the water in the dirt longer) -> What would happen? Every player who wants to set up a field would run to find terracotta/clay to have a faster farm! This would be a new feature to the game and encourage players to run and get these blocks.

    I personally have an idea for Glazed Terracotta. Check it out since you like regular Terracotta.

    It's an idea I haven heard, however I don't know if it needs to be in the game... Hoes I think need to be addressed before any other farming issue. However my vote is yours.
