More Types of TNT/Dynamite Part 1: Regular Dynamite

Important: There will be a list of all the explosives at the bottom of the post for you to check out!

 

I speak for everyone when there’s things that people really love about TNT and that’s explosions and absolute destruction! I agree with the people and because of that I say this: There needs to be more explosives! I came up with lots of different types of TNT along with some different types of throwable explosives also known as Dynamite that should be added in the game. Each type of explosive will be separated into their own articles so that you the people will tell me if certain types of explosives should be added in game or not. In this topic it will be about Dynamite:

Regular Dynamite

Recipe: 1 TNT Block in a crafting slot and the player will get 16 Dynamite.

Info: Its explosion radius is smaller than a TNT Block. It can be thrown at far distances and has a shorter detonating time limit.

Crossbow Compatibility: The player can hold the dynamite in their off hand and load it in the Crossbow on the main hand. This will allow the dynamite to launch even farther then using your bare hands. When released the dynamite will have a twirling animation.

    16 is way to much, for any explosive, four is much more reasonable.

    Trust me, I would've gone with 9 instead but seeing that the original TNT Block does have 16 sticks in it, it makes sense.

    Plus it's not like they have the damage and blast radius of TNT. That's why it's reduced.

    You wouldn't use TNT to make dynamite tho as they are completely different compounds. Disassembling the TNT would just give you individual sticks of TNT not dynamite. That would be your throwable. Dynamite should be crafted from scratch with it's own unique recipe (nitroglycerin + clay maybe?). With that said, TNT is not made from gunpowder either so maybe they're not going for realism. Dynamite is also stronger than TNT so it's blast radius would actually be larger. I would very much like to see dynamite added as a more powerful explosive. It would be a great way to excavate large areas/cause unbearable destruction. :-)

    I definitely think there needs to be a great variety of explosions sizes, including smaller. My daughter likes to take maps and make them look like ruins.
