Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Make Blast Furnace more useful

Blast Furnaces should be able to smelt sand, Netherrack, cobblestone, and stone-related blocks faster, not just ores. This is because in the late-game most of the players have a iron/gold farms and they usually don't go mine iron or gold, but they are still building amazing builds with Stone Bricks, Smooth Stone and more. Normal furnaces should be just a low-tier furnace for the first hours of a world, and they should be replaced by smokers and blast furnaces.

    Yeah, this would be very useful! I was making decoration for my nether portal and it took me so long to smelt the cobblestone to make stone bricks.

    Maybe blast furnaces directly make cobble stone smooth stone

    I agree, blast furnaces are currently useless. You generally don't sit around and wait for ore to smelt. Making glass, smooth stone and even food would make it useful.

    OdaNobunagall Blast furnaces will never be able to make food, the smoker is already there for you to cook on. But sand and other things would be SOO helpful!

    I totally support this idea, however I'd suggest changing the title. Blast Furnaces are useful. Just not as useful as they should be.
