Dear Mojang, the wooden swords need improvement. I have a few ideas for the wooden sword improvements. They will be listed below.
First of all, the same wooden sword is crafted by all the types of planks. I feel like the wooden sword should be crafted with those materials, but with different colors of those planks. a prime example is the old wooden sword should just be called the oak wood sword, but other types of wood should get the same color of the plank you crafted it with on the sword itself.
The second idea is those swords could be colored with dye. for instance, a oak wood sword, when dyed red, will look different than a birch wood sword that's also dyed red. and the cycle goes on with the specific dyes, sword types, and the wood you crafted your sword with.
The third idea goes along with the second idea. You should be able to restore the sword you dyed to it's original color. It would be pretty unfair to be unable to restore the color of your sword, with your closest option to make another one with the same planks again.
Those are my ideas to revamp the wooden sword. If you consider to put my ideas, I'd be surprised. But then again, I would hope Mojang reads this, and realizes the change that needs to be done.
