Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Different Bow Types

A suggestion was brought to me as of adding a functionality to the Fletching Table, name adding new bows type that can only be crafted from here (such as a longbow, recurve bow, a short bow, etc) and the ability to dye the fletching (the feathers) and the arrows making them more unique. Here r just a few ideas for the different types of bows (the ones named above).

The longbow is a bow that does less damage (like 6-7 damage) but goes much further than the regular bow (like maybe 250-350 meters). Essentially u sacrifice damage for range, making it balanced and not broke.

The short bow is the opposite of the longbow. U get less range (like 50-100) but more damage (10- maybe 12).

Recurve bow is a bow that my friend knows but I don't. (I'll look stuff up on the bow and edit it later)

And the dying of the fletching will allow for more uniqueness with ur arrows and team.

Again this is just a few ideas the I hope u guys can consider adding these things "in the next major themed update" to Minecraft to give us more different bows and uniqueness for us

    I don’t agree with you:the longbow will be stronger and its arrow will go faster and further but it takes two seconds to relaod it and the normal 1/2 a second the shortbow takes 1/4 a second to be relaoded but it is the the weakest you can check my post on advanced archery to see more details

    A recurve bow would be much more powerfull than a normal bow as well. Also a composite bow made from wood, bones and leather would be the absolutely strongest of them all.

    Gluing composite bows, assembling short and long bows - the functionality of the workbench.
    And fletching involves specialized interaction with arrows - the assembly of arrows with shear tips, crescent tips, armor-piercing tips, the use of different metals in the tips, and much more.
    The long bow is not weaker than the average, but it is difficult to shoot from it while sitting (on a horse, for example).
