Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Make looms so you can create capes

 

  Hello I was thinking mojang should introduce capes into the general public... But I was caught with a dilemma that I couldn’t figure out; then it hit me, capes should be able to be crafted in looms. You could wear them on your chest plate slot; They give as much protection as a leather chestplate. And how I think it should work you ask. Make an blank cape out of 9 leather in a crafting grid. Then you dye them just like a banner. :D Well just a quick suggestion I had.

    Its a good idea,
    But wouldnt they require a slightly different mechanic to Special capes like minecon?

    Maybe they show a banner design and dont flow in the wind?

    I think it should just be that you can put banners on your back. Add a cape slot. No protection, but you can still wear armour. And they would look like a cape, not like what pillagers do. Maybe they could even change the appearance of elytra?
