Furnace Functionality Addition

Already in Minecraft, players can get a bucket of water from a furnace by placing an empty bucket in the fuel slot while a wet sponge is smelting. What if this could be done with other items? Not necessarily a part of the game, but at least ease of access to the function should be added or explained. For example, a chance of an empty bucket filling with lava when a magma block is smelted into a netherbrick. This is really only an example, but think of the kinds of puzzles that mapmakers could introduce if this functionality was expanded further! And not just mapmakers, but regular players who would love to see something like this. Another example: a melon slice in the fuel slot while gold ore is cooking could also be made to provide a slice of glistering melon, while then only providing a single gold nugget in the output slot. Again, both of these are just examples, the second being more, out there, but would make an excellent addition to the game!
