Rope Ladders

Ladders are great for getting up out of places but not so much going down. Rope ladders would drop straight down the side of the block you place them on. At the bottom, there'd be a rope ladder "bundle" containing all of the rope ladders that didn't get used. The rope ladder would be crafted using string and sticks.

    There should be a new rope item crafted from string and used to craft various things like leads and rope ladders.     Rope ladders should be able to be raised and lowered by redstone and crafted from rope and sticks. I agree it should be crafted in bundles, maybe 8 blocks?, but you can add bundles to make the ladder longer

    you should also be able to get the entire rope ladder that was used by right clicking the top or bottom, making traversing vertically much easier

    I agree, it is also worth adding the ability to freely build the ladder up and down if one of the parts is fixed on a solid block.

    Great idea, gets my vote.

    Eventhough we have some vines and other plants to climb on they don't fit in any build. I would even be happy with a litteral rope to climb, like connecting a lead on the top and bottom. But... it has to be solid in that case, not something that despawns every now and than like they did for many many years.

    And oh yes... Does Mojang even know/read the about the feedback?
