I think you should made all weapons usefull in minecraft when you fight
the swords are the most balanced weapons, with good damage, decent recoil and acceptable speed
the axes are stronger and with a decent recoil but they are very slow
the blades are weak and slow but they have a very impressive recoil
the scythes are fast and with decent damage but they do not have such a big setback
and finally the pillory would be like a sword only weaker
I want to thank you for reading my feedback and I hope that my ideas are soon added to minecraft
PS: use a translator to write this I hope it has no spelling mistakes
