Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Baobab fruit

In real life baobab produces an edible fruit. I think that in the future update that the baobab tree is implemented, it would be capable of producing this fruit. How will it grow? Occasionally, a small fruit will appear under one of the overhanging leaf blocks of the baobab, looking similar to how a Minecraft lantern hangs from a ceiling. It will have three stages of maturity: the first being small and green, the second being larger but still green, and the final stage would be large and light brown. This fruit would have a lighter color than the cocoa bean pods, and a significantly different texture. the reason why this would be worth adding in is not only would this be another new way to produce food, but it would make the savannas of Minecraft worth visiting and exploring.

    You should talk about what you can use the fruit for also.

    This is such a great idea! I think it’d be a cool thing for players to learn that the baobab tree indeed has a fruit, and perhaps in the future we can try implementing more “weird” fruits! I wonder if the MC developers would ever consider looking more into fruits that most people don’t know about, or fruits that are at risk of extinction. Fruits are so interesting and I wish that Minecraft would spark that curiosity for people who don’t know about just how many cool fruits exist!
