I feel that the desert is just sort of... boring. Even with the new update coming out I think the desert lacks a lot of things that could give players more reason to actually GO to the desert.
Feature #1: The Lupine.
In case you didn't know, a lupine is a flower that grows in the sonoran desert. I think that one thing the desert needs is more color. And I think it could be useful for decorative purposes. The lupine is a blue flower with a stalk with little flowers on the sides.
Feature #2: Edible Cactus
Did you know that people actually eat cactus in real life? So I thought it would be cool if you could eat cactus in Minecraft too :). Putting cactus in a crafting table would still give you green dye. But cooking cactus will actually give you a new food item. I haven't decided if the cactus does anything special when you eat it. Post your ideas in the reply section!
Feature #3: Rocks
This feature isn't really a desert specific feature. It's more of a main game thing. Rocks would be these tiny little stones found throughout your world. I think they could be good for decoration and I came up with a couple of achievments to go along with them!
"Rock Collector" Collect Every single rock in the game
" Geologist " Collect Every single gem, rock, and ore in the game
Types of Rocks: Diorite, Andesite, Granite, Quartz, Magma, and Iron Infused.
Feature #4: Fair Dungeons
I think that even in survival mode, players can easily get through dungeons and get the loot in them without running to any challenge. People may use Elytra, Mining. Or even hacks. There are too many ways to cheat the Stronghold, End City, And Woodland Mansion.
I think that these new blocks should be added for creative players to build with and for survival players to navigate and find their way through.
Normal Dungeon Bricks are just unbreakable bricks, But you can right-click them ( In creative mode ) to turn them into a block of your choosing. But survival players will still find them impossible to get past. Another thing is Cracked Dungeon bricks. These blocks the player can mine through and get to the next area. And finally, dungeon doors. These blocks will only be destroyed if you right click them with a dungeon key, which can be found in a chest throughout they dungeon. If you want to see other cool things in the dungeons. Post your comments down below!
