a more realistic way to melt minerals

Here I bring you an illustration of what I would like the smelting of minerals to be: -The copper can be molded easily on the processing table, but the iron, the gold, the diamond, the emerald NO. It would be very illogical to be able to mold such a strong mineral. -With copper could be built enough things, such as armor that could be manufactured and removed, and is also the mineral basis to achieve other minerals such as steel or silver.

If this idea would be accepted, the way to melt weapons and
armor would be something like that, I take as an example an
iron ax.
