Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Yesssss I feel it should be crafted out of iron bars instead of iron ingots and It doesn’t have to be crafted out of smooth stone It should be normal stone as well

They don’t want to give you more than 1 nugget when you smelt armory because you can smelt all the armory You get from an zombie farm And that would be too crazy

This is an fantastic idea! There is another comment that mentioned that it could be used as a iron farm "you can smelt all the armory you get from an zombie farm and that would be too crazy", I disagree with this comment as simple iron golem farm produces way more iron and can be made almost anywhere in the world (unlike a zombie farm from a spawner).

On bedrock iron farms are really slow so I think this could make a better iron farm early game, but I think minus 1 nugget is too little, maybe cut it by 50%? Like a undamaged chest plate would give u 35 nuggets

    My suggestion is differently:

The idea is just to change the input for the ore and the fuel:

First: we must only use lava buckets for smelting any item. The smelting time could be the same.
Second: the item input should have two slots: that's means the two items can be combined together in only one output item.

    This could works like this:

Combining two iron leggings or two iron boots (or one iron boots and one iron helmet) gives you in the output an single iron ingot, instead of a single iron nugget.
The behavior for the gold items (but non food items) will be similarly.
And if we can have a way to recycle the items of netherite (on the next update), it could be in this way: two netherite items to get a single netherite scrap.

The reason that I suggest a lava bucket to do that is just to make the things challenger.

All this won't means that the blast furnace lost their current ability, it just will have one empty slot: at every kind of ore input the blast furnace gives their corresponding smelted item, in a faster way than the normal furnaces.

Furnaces and Blast furnaces has their uses, and I agree with the points:

    • Concept that Blast furnace be faster them normal furnaces even using more fuel
    • Smelt only armor / ores. Completely understandable.
    • Idea of recicle objects (armor) to be used in other application (nuggets). This is a great concept in Minecraft and must be explored!

    Things i disagree:

    • Ratio of nuggets you receive per burn. Should be higher to make not profitable but beneficial, stand a clear point to be craft it..
    • Efficiency in smelt ore. Not only in speed. Should affect how efficient it deal with ore (i.e. stone cutter with ratio 1:1). For this we have to consider 2 factors

      1) Ingots
Iron and Gold have to be a better ratio to justify the use of blast furnace. this itens are not affected by fortune i.e. example.
      2) Ores (Affected by fortune pick)
Coal, Red Stone and Diamond should have a better ratio  but not more then Fortune picks (maybe not level I, but definitely not better then level 2 and 3) because Fortune uses experience points and tools to be make, and blast furnace fuel and a considerably cheaper recipe

Short story, Blast furnace have to have a better benefits to be made. Cannot compete with Fortune Enchant. but be relevant enough to be craft.
