Note: This Idea originated from my experience when playing Minecraft on Touch Screen Devices specifically on an iPad Mini 2 and may only apply to Minecraft’s Pause Menu UI on Touch Screen Devices. UI suggestion may differ between devices.
What I Want Done: I would like separate/extra buttons in the Pause Menu Screen for Easy Access to certain aspects of the Settings. These may include the Camera Perspective, Split Controls, Hide HUD, Hide Hand, etc. These buttons shouldn’t be limited to only my ideas, and can also incorporate other features within the settings! I’d be delighted if these buttons were customizable in terms of the various features in the Settings for each persons’ preferences!
Why I Want Something Done: It is minor yet tedious to transition certain elements of the settings for purposes such as taking a Third Person Front Screenshot with Friends, Switching Split Controls On and Off for personal preferences whether it be PvP or Building, Clear Anti-HUD Screenshots of our Builds, etc. Adding these buttons to the Pause Menu can greatly reduce time spent searching through the Settings for the aforementioned purposes and much more!
How I Want Something Done: The Pause Menu has lots of dark blank space which could reside the Quick Access Buttons I greatly insist on adding. In the following screenshot FP in the Orange Square stands for First Person and when the button is clicked it should transition to TPF (Third Person Front), then TPB (Third Person Back), and back again to FP restarting the cycle. This should be done with the On and Off sequences of the other suggested Pause Menu UI Buttons. Again, these specific buttons are only examples and can include much more from within the settings! Thank you for your time!
Here is said screenshot, poorly constructed, of what they may be seen as and where I think these buttons should be placed:
