Minecraft Locator Map Nerf Bedrock

In my opinion, I believe locator maps are too overpowered, for survival Minecraft. Because you can see where peoples location is off the map, and locate people by going in there direction and creating new maps to see if you're going the right way. By using this technique you can pretty much locate anyone on your survival world/realm. There are multiple ways you can resolve this problem. 1. Make it a game rule so other people can only be seen when they are on the map 2. Make the locator map cost more items, maybe diamonds or more, but still, limit how far away other people can be seen with the map, maybe have a 10 thousand block limit or something like this, and people still have to pay something more valuable then iron this makes it an investment, but not to overpower. If you agree with me please vote on this, so we can hopefully resolve this issue. Thank you

    I completely agree. Locator maps are OVER POWERED in survival Minecraft when you are playing against other players.

    Completely agree. Hide and seek should be a basic ability. How does the pre-NASA world of minecraft have GPS in it anyway, let alone magically having GPS trackers on everyone else? It makes zero sense and its my biggest pet peeve of practically all games now. Give me my immersion back! Ought to be able to do something as simple as hide for fks sake.
