Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Smeltable stairs and slabs

Right now you can smelt cobblestone into stone, so why can’t you smelt cobblestone crafted items, such as cobblestone stairs or slabs into stone stairs and slabs. I think this will help improve Minecraft because if you’re like me, and you have a bunch of cobblestone stairs lying around, you will be able to do something with them.
