Land doesn't always meet oceans with a warm, sandy, beach. Sometimes, the land suddenly drops down to the ocean in a massive cliff. Not only would this make sense, it would also make for one of the most amazing sights in the game.
The Oceanside cliffs would essentially generate as an alternative to beaches. They would stretch from ocean level up to the y-level of the biome bordering the ocean for a smooth transition. The slope would be nearly vertical, and made out of brownstone, a new block. If the slope is at least 8 blocks tall, caves have a chance of generating in them. At the base of the cliffs, there would often be some large brownstone boulders. Oceanside Dungeons may also have a chance of generating.
Why do we need this? It would be incredibly beautiful, and it would add another challenge whenever you want to get to the ocean from the land. It would be an amazing spot to build at, and the new brownstone block could be used in all sorts of structures. Additionally, the Oceanside Dungeon would make for some intense cliffside battles.
