Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

X-Ray Mining Helmet

What I think you should do is make a end-game X-ray mining helmet. Although it seems like a major cheat, its an end-game item and has to be crafted with 3 dragon eggs and 6 diamonds. It would look through the stone, making it almost completely transparent, and highlights ores. You can still mine with this on, however, stuff may look weird. It will be helpful for mining to make magnificent villages and houses.

    You can only get one Dragon Egg. This item would ruin the fun for many people on servers and the recipe doesn't make any sense.

    The recipe doesn't make any sense, you can't see through a Dragon Egg, and how would this make villages and house? Also the player can't get 3 Dragon Eggs in pure survival. This seems like an item that just can't be in game. I'm sorry man.
