It'd be intresting, but I think it'd also be hard to add to Minecraft.

This would be a gamechanger. I completely agree. But I think it would have to involve a very large area of terraforming to do, otherwise it would be to easy. Also, when the biome is more than 100% terraformed, it would show signs of changing. such as water and grass changing slightly, and a rare amount of biome specific mobs spawning.

Some players may not want this, so it should probably be a gamerule, like /gamerule dobiomechange

It actually wouldn’t be incredibly difficult to implement, it would probably take a while to load a world, though.

I agree, this should be added, however, if you know anything about programming, it would cause a lag when saving and re-entering the world. It would have to check consistently to see if it is in line with the common blocks in the many biomes. Think about this, woodland mansions do the same thing. They check all the many different dark oak biomes and only spawn when it meets all the parameters. So, if this were to be implemented, it would have to have minimal parameters, and it may cause crashes, like if you were to put a jungle tree in a spruce tree biome. That would confuse the computer like crazy, so a little more thought may have to be put into this, but hey, good idea, and keep it up! ;)
