Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

General Cutting Block

With the addition of the stone cutter block and the functions it has, currently it only cuts stone blocks. This means that the blocks like doors, fences, wooden half slabs/stairs, exc don't have a proper crafting menu which is bad because it means that the recipes still don't give you a fair trade off for what materials you use to the block you want.

To fix this issue I think that the stone cutter block should be turned more into just a cutter block for all uses instead of just stone, or add a new block that would have the same functions.

This would also enable a lot more recipes to be added in the future for new wood looks (like how smooth stone can be made to stone bricks and then to designed stone) which would be great for more block diversity.

    I was convinced this was going to be added since it just feels like a missing feature at the momment, a very simple quality of life change alternative to the crafting table's recipes, that are currently very wasteful for no real reason.

    Additionally it could allow to craft decorative wooden blocks like signs or trapdoors in precise ammounts or more efficiently.
