Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Fried Eggs

Eggs have been in Minecraft for a VERY long time. However, they have only VERY few uses. They are only used to craft cake and pumpkin pie.

I would like to suggest that a new cooking method for eggs can be added. FRIED EGGS! To obtain it, just put the egg inside the furnace and you will get fried eggs. It should also be applicable to the new campfire.  When eaten, it should heal 1 bar of hunger. It can be crafted with bread to make EGG SANDWICHES, which heals 3.5 bar of hunger when eaten. Then you should be able to make SCRAMBLED EGGS by putting 5 fried eggs inside a crafting table. It may heal 4 bar of hunger when eaten.

That's basically my suggestion to increase the uses of eggs. I hope that it may be implemented into the game.

*P/S: Try adding some more vegetables like lettuce, tomatoes and cabbages, which may be added to the egg sandwiches to make food more interesting!

    I just need a recipe for the eggs.
    Just an omelette - ummmm.
    An omelette made of 9 eggs.
    It would be nice to be able to use the eggs (alone) for more than for chickens.

    I think this is a good idea overall. Egg sandwiches seem kind of out of place since there are no other sandwiches in game, and I would have scrambled eggs be somewhat less effective (maybe 3 eggs and heals 2 hunger icons), but otherwise I definitely agree: it just seems weird that you currently can't eat eggs, and it would feel like a natural game addition.

    I'm surprised cooked or cooking eggs as a food source (no matter how comparatively worse and/or better) is not a thing already possible in the game. Gives me a lot more use for those dozens of stacks of whatsay, 16 eggs in my storage?

    Mojang is trying to keep food simple.
    I like the fried egg part, (and wonder why it's not in the game allready,) but the crafting should end there.

    Honestly it is something that has always perplexed me about this game.  One of the most simple foods was overlooked.  I mean we got stuff like Cake, cookies, mushroom/rabbit stew but the simplest for of cooking......nope.  

    Literally crack an egg in a pan and wait....bam you have food.  

    Throw an egg in a furance or campfire....bam you should have a sunny side up egg you can eat.

    Its almost a no brainer and yet here we are in 1.14 still without the ability to make eggs useful again!

    This would be great! And it could open up some new combo ideas like: scrambled eggs and ham, egg soup, fried steak and egg. They are a large staple of a majority of peoples diets in real life, there are tons of ways to use them besides cake and pie. Since its the easier thing to get in the game eggs should have more options for use.

    Hello, MOJANG STUDIOS! I want to offer you a very good idea. Egg. It is quite old and no longer interesting. You can throw it and make candy. A bonfire isn't necessary, either. Since the egg is quite difficult to get, I want to offer you (scrambled eggs)! It can be fried on a fire and only on the fire, and not in the oven. This will also add a variety of dishes! It will be very cool!!! Think about it guys:)

    I like this idea, but I don't know about egg sandwiches... that's just not like Minecraft. But maybe instead you could do omelets?

    I agree. Putting an egg in a furnace or campfire could fry it, on a crafting table could scramble it, and with a bucket of water could boil it. 

    Or, 3 eggs on the crafting table would be an omlette, and add other item(s) (potato, carrot, beet, kelp... or new item(s) like onion, bell pepper, broccoli), and milk for scrambled eggs... putting other ingredients with egg in the furnace would make quiche.

    Egg could have a similar value to other protein meals, considering the volume (more eggs in the recipe would have more value).

    Or just pick one thing. Just so we can eat the eggs.

    I love this idea! I was thinking about it too, and thought maybe adding quiche would be fun too. You would have three scrambled eggs, two mushrooms, one tomato (if it were added, if not, there could be milk or something else like that), and three wheat. Quiche could be like cake and it would be placed if you wanted to eat it. One slice of quiche would restore two hunger and the whole quiche would restore fourteen hunger. I really hope this gets added to the game!

    I like the fried egg idea, cooking them in a Furnace, Smoker, or on a Campfire. But I think it should be left at that. Sandwiches takes it a little too far and detailed.

    Place eggs in smoker and get hard boiled eggs would be nice
