Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Crystals

Crystals would generate in Crystalline caves, rare types of caves that have an abundance of the Crystals. Crystals would be used to create Crystal tools and weapons and Armor. They would have a durability between Iron and Diamond but have special abilities (Examples are Crystal Bows which shoot in a straight line and twice as fast as a normal arrow, Crystal Swords explode and damage any nearby mobs when it loses all durability, etc)

    Noice, maybe we could create crystal panes with it too. Or if used with some diamond, we could have hardened crystal pane, more blast resistant than normal glass pane.

    Maybe they could be used to dye redstone lamps, so they would glow the color of crystal you found.

    someting cool that could work is colored ligting.

    if you combine glowstone with a colored crystal you will get colored glowstone.

    It be cool if they have some parts of the crystals had parts of it sticking out like the Coral blocks have in the ocean

    Cool idea, i think that crystal should be used for some way of enchanting. With minecraft, there is only one route when it comes to armour: Get diamond, enchant, upgrade to tools. I think crystals could make non-enchantable armour through the smithing table. For example: A diamond chestplate infused with red crystals could do the same as thorns, and blue crystals maybe could make you dash. This is just my idea and i think it would make minecraft more interesting.
