I really love this idea, and the names and effects are well thought out. I think all rings should have little backstories for the description instead of saying what it does, like I'm doing. If I were to more some rings, I'd add:

    • Beheading Ring

Fit for a king with the power of ten charged creepers. You have a 10% chance of getting the head of the player you killed.

I think the Beheading Ring would go great with the Rename Me Ring, the ultimate disguise.

    • Experience Ring

A ring forged by experienced warriors. You get twice as much XP from mobs and players you kill.

    • Shiny Ring

Specially made for those who are blind. Gives all players around you (including you) the effect glowing.

    WHAT?
Rings, a new item to equip, with new effects. Not craftable, great addition for the survival gameplay.

    WHY?
Laking of Endgame survival experience. Going to find something very rare would be a great addition to the game. Getting 1 ring won't be very rare, but getting the ring you are researching could be really difficult.

    HOW?
Just adding 1 or 2 inventory slot, on the right of the slot for the Shield.
(depending if the player can equip 1 or 2 rings)

I somehow think that being able to equip only 1 ring could be better. :P

@Zackeroni9 : rings should NOT have little backstories; Minecraft have NO little stories, just name of effects, and name of potions/items. Maybe Mojang could let a way to users an easy way to add such backstories with a datapack or so...
