Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Reset lectern book page using redstone

With using a redstone torch under the lectern it will reset the pages (like its set on page 5 it will go back to page 1) to reset the redstone, this can turn the lectern intro a fun redstone puzzle that can reset itself (like a lock)

 

In short: when the lectern receives a redstone signal from the bottem it set it's pages count on 0.

    This is exactly what I was thinking of as well. Nice to see a good post that actually surpassed the approval process this fast. This would be incredibly useful for auto resetting password locks and so much more. It's also a QOL since the current way to go back to page 1 is spamming the left arrow.

    Building an adventure map where most things would be rather easy to reset, but sadly that's not true for the lectern. Your idea is awesome and would make things a whole lot easier, even a command would help a lot.

    Please. Its been three years. This needs to change, and fast. I just needed it, and didn't realized it wasn't a feature already :(

    was trying to make an elevator and dint have the space for an elaborate machine. i found my way here to find it was just a suggestion and not a feature. very sad we dont have this yet. heres a vote though!
