Steves and Alex NPCs

In a future update Minecraft should get Npcs of the various skins of Steve and Alex that spawn across the map. They are neutral and if payed will live with you in your house or build there own, also if payed they will help you fight and farm. They will need to fed like a normal player or they will die.     Have them spawn in houses . But maybe not diamonds

    Instead of the player feeding the NPC, the NPC should just feed itself.

    This sounds good; I think it’d be cool if only one Steve and one Alex (the characters themselves) appeared per world, and maybe be an option you can turn on for those who want to play as them or be alone (you could also enable/disable just one of them or both).

    If they die, they can respawn; you would find them randomly while exploring and they act like the player would (Steve likely mining while Alex likely hunting/exploring but both would like all activities, so they could also both be doing the same things or building etc.), and they could appear together. If you’re hostile to them (attack more than once with a weapon; they may attack if you hit once but stop when they realize you’re not attacking), both would attack you even if you only got aggressive with one of them. You could get them to join you as friends, however, if you give them stuff like iron, diamonds, food, building blocks, etc. or maybe they could trade a little and you convince them that way.

    You could also give them armor, and they may actually spawn with armor. If you kill them, they can respawn nearby and will remember what you did, making it hard to get them to trust you. You could give them food if they’re hungry or they’ll hunt/farm on their own and hopefully not die. They could fight alongside you and other cool stuff as buds with smart AI, and can do almost everything the player can do.

    Not just Alex and Steve but other characters that will follow you around like wolfs and you can have them stay and Guard or just follow you and help like a miner a combat person a wood cutter or just a villager because leading villagers back to your cave is hard it popular people like having a companion in Minecraft so why not make it possible maybe even hostile mobs but they would be a bit harder to befriend but yea I think this is a great idea

    this is prefect! this means that I don't have to visit my farms and get recourse's each day so I don't have any sidetracks from adventuring.
