This suggestion focuses on making enchantments more magical, with more MAGIC!

Smite & Bane of Arthropods:

If you attack an Undead or Arthropods with Smite or Bane of Arthropods respectively on your Weapon, there will be a HISSING sound effect, followed with smoke indicating that your blade is toxic to Undead & Arthropods respectively.

Sharpness:

There will be special shiny reflection animations on your weapon's tip.

When you attack mobs/blades the sound that your weapon makes sounds more SHINNNNNG sound, like a sharp sword.

Thorns:
-
If your armor has thorns and the enemy is hit by the thorns, there will be an animation of thorns coming from the mob which attacked you.

Frost Walker:
-
You will see soft snow particles occasionally coming from your feet.
-

Fire Aspect & Flame:
-
You will see embers occasionally spawn on your sword/bow. This is very subtle and atmospheric.
-
These Embers flow, much like Spider & Endermen eyes.
-
When you attack a mob, there will be a sound (a sound like the fire charge) which will happen when you attack the mob.
-
Alternatively, if you attack your sword turns flaming during the attack animation.
-
Burning Mobs also make the fire sound effect.
-

Fire Protection:
-
When on fire/burning, you will see the particles of fire resistance occasionally come up, but not nearly as common as fire resistance (potion) particles which actually give you 100% fire defence.

All Curses:
-
When you imbue a curse to your armour you will hear an evil laughing sound appear.

Curse of Vanishing:
-
When you die and the item vanishes, there will be a dramatic sound similar to that of the Totem of Undying breaking in your hand.

Power & Piercing:
-
Causes a shiny effect on the tip of the arrow in the bow or crossbow.
-
Also causes a shine in the entire bow which will appear when you pull back the bow completely and or reload your crossbow.

Multishot:
-
Causes the extra shots from the crossbow to be slightly transparent, giving to the magical feel.
-

Knockback and Punch:
-
When you attack a mob with a weapon with these enchantments, there will be a horizontal shockwave animation, indicating knockback.
-

Infinity:
-
A super cool sounding sound will come up whenever you "clone" and arrow with infinity enchantments.
-
Also, the arrows of infinity look slightly transparent, because infinity arrows cannot be picked up, as if they were magically cloned arrows.

Protection, Projectile, Blast Protection:
-
Changes the normal hit sound effect into the sound of iron being pounded on, but only based on the respective protection of the enchantment.
-
However damage by poison and burning do not have this sound.
-

Mending:
-
When armor is mended star particles will appear and there will be a SHINNNNGGG sound effect.

Aqua Affinity:
-
Makes tools on your hand have bubbles on them when underwater.
-
-
Feather Falling:
-
After a hard land, feathers will appear instead of dirt quakes.
-
The bigger the fall the more feathers will appear.
-
Also, your landing sound is replaced with a muffled PUFF sound.

Looting:
-
Killing Mobs/Players will cause sparkles and soft glittery sounds which should not be too distracting.

Fortune:
-
Same effects as Looting, but for blocks instead of dead mobs.

Channelling:
-
Randomly electricity will travel on your trident's tip(s).
-
-
Lure:
-
Causes an echoing vibration-like animation in the bait of the fishing rod.
-
-
Luck of the Sea:
-
A Sparkling Animation with glitter sounds will appear when you fish some treasure.
