The Birch Forest Biome is a neglected biome that needs some attention and overhaul. The birch forest is not exactly a memorable biome, so I think it could use some updates. I was inspired by the Mega Taiga biome, since I believe it is the most realistic biome in Minecraft (and therefore my favorite). I believe that some other biomes should also be created to look more realistic, but right now here is what the Birch Forest Biome should look like:

Trees- (Lanterns not included, or maybe included :). Variants of these trees can obviously be made.)
Large Birch Tree- Birch trees generally look like this so I think that they should be as common as those large oak trees would generate in the forest biome.
Medium Birch Tree- I also found some Birch trees that generally look like this, so I think they would be a nice addition.
Small Birch Tree- I added this for some variety, and also to have a tree that a player can easily chop down, since the larger ones would take a while.
Boulders-
I think that boulders would be a nice addition, as they are in the Mega Taiga; I made two versions, one with slabs on the sides, and one without, in case that would be better for world generation.
The Ground-
I think the ground should be generally detailed with Grass, Path Blocks, Podzol, and of course Coarse Dirt. I think that the plants Grass, Fern, and Large Fern should be scattered throughout this biome as well.
Well-
The well should be placed in the biome a few times, with a few variants. This would just be to add character (or maybe to serve as a dungeon entrance :0).
Village-
I began to create some village houses, but then I realized they were being revamped anyways. Left them there for inspiration. :)
It may take a lot of work to revamp a biome like this, but I think it will definitely be worth it. A biome like this would inspire creativity in its players and would be a favorite biome of many players. No new blocks would have to be added for this biome, but maybe the upcoming foxes would be able to spawn in here as well. The berry bushes could also be added for extra flavor. These two features might just stick with the Taiga biome, but they would be a great addition to the Birch Forest!
