High speed in creative mode

I get why you have to go slow in survival mode. It's natural, right? But in creative mode, it gets boring waiting around to get to my destination. I would really like it, I think creative mode would be more enjoyable if you increased flying speed by ten fold.

    To answer the other person's questions,

    /effect speed only works for run speed, on the ground

    /tp won't help if you're just exploring or want to fill in a map
