Light Air

Light Air is functionally identical to a regular air block, but with the exception in that it emits light, with the light level being controlled by the blocks' blockstate.

The Light Air block would be very useful to mapmakers as it would allow the creation of dynamic lighting via commands. Light Air would also be useful for lighting up builds where any other method of lighting would either be too dim or too visible - Light Air solves this problem as it would allow builders to place invisible light sources.

    What if, instead of an "air" block, it was an invisible item frame which emitted light. It could be placed on the top, sides, or bottom of a block, Allowing the user to place it to illuminate an area without seeing the block itself, it would have a smaller hit box too.

    But how would it be crafted? or accessed by the player, in survival?

    What would the recipe be, or what would it be made from? Or are you proposing it only be in creative?
