Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The Satchel (Horses)

Description: The Satchel is a container item similar to the Backpack (see the previous post) but used on steeds. There are very flat and thin chestlike containers held by black straps on either side of the saddle.

  1. Type: Wearable items
  2. Renewable: Yes
  3. Stackable: No

Obtaining:

  • Crafting - Satchels are crafted by placing a backpack underneath a saddle.

Usage:

  • Steeds - They just replace chests in the steeds inventory. Cannot be used with armor.
  • Incompatible steeds - Satchels cannot be put on any other steed that has armor on, nor undead horses (zombie and skeleton).

In-Game Application: I actually don't really feel as attached to this one, or have as much of a reason to add it more than it would further use of the backpack and make more sense than just shoving a chest into the gut of a horse. So, meh. (Definitely add the backpack though.)

    Well, now that Mojang deleted my backpack post for it being too similar to other posts, this one is kinda pointless. Kind of a shame.
