They should also show how much storage the add-on takes up.

I agree, Mojang out of nowhere made add-ons for minecraft so people also had the chance to make viruses hidden in the file to look in the computers of the world an Official Add-on site in my mind is a popular demand!

I don't have an issue with this as long as there is an easy way for creators to add their own with ease. If it were to be in the Marketplace, there would need to be a post button. It is not that creator-friendly, and I think it would die down if Microsoft made it an authorized website only type of thing. And of course paying is annoying. Don't mess it up please.

I really don't care to much about this but at the same time. It would be cool to get addons without an add every ten seconds

It would also be useful that if it could be xbox compadible, since its annoying for console users to get non-marketplace texturepacks & addons

That will be needed because we need to search for hours for an addon

Yes please do this! Even if we can use the add-ons with the worlds we purchased in the marketplace to work in our existing worlds.

If you can create an add-on on Nintendo Switch, that's fine.

I think it would be cool if they added a website for sowing off cool mods and ideas and if they give permission, it would be nice to add some cool stuff into minecraft kinda like a mini update every once and a while

I think MediaFire would be easier than other risky websites like ad-fly, linkvertise, and something else that is very ad-inappropriate+risky virus websites. So maybe Mojang or Minecraft Devs would make another way to not get a risk or ad-inappropriate for any minor age. (You are welcome Minecraft Devs! For knowing what information is about risky websites. And to make Minecraft Age-Friendly and Safety Support.)

It's been six years since Better Together and it still feels like no one cares for Bedrock over there.

One possible solution could be to utilize the Steam Workshop, which has been successful in hosting mods and add-ons for other games. However, the challenge would be integrating the add-ons with Minecraft. Perhaps there could be a feature in the game that allows players to browse and download add-ons directly from the Workshop, and the game could automatically install them in the appropriate folder. It would certainly make it easier for players to find and download add-ons without having to worry about sketchy download sites or adfly links.

Yea Microsoft and Mojang need to put more effort into this part of the game. Like the implementation of Addons is going well according to the changelogs, but there's little effort in the community of it. An accessible place for sharing/downloading addons would be a necessary step in this effort.

They already have the marketplace, if they were to make an official site, it would make no difference.

I don't want java to become like bedrock. Having freedom in java edition is great but having to pay for mods would ruin the experience. Also, if you're going to say "ThEY CoUlD be FrEe ThOUgh", first realise how much money mojang makes out of selling useless mods on bedrock.
