Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Roofing Materials

With all these new blocks being added, would it be possible to add roofing materials? Blocks that are like shingles or something that come in a variety of colors that can be used for roofs. Currently, when I'm trying to build roofs, it feels like my options are limited to stone-type blocks or wood-type blocks which are often used in the main part of my builds. I feel like adding roofing blocks would allow for more variety in color in a lot of builds and for a variety in the materials used when building. Love whats being added to the game so far though!!! Keep up the great work!

    I really think you are like a lot of personn i'm using a ressource pack to change the terracota block to have a texture for each rotation that me to add more roofing block but the problem is that i love the terracota texture and it's sad to change it because we don't have proper roof tiles block.

    Here an example of  the mod "not enough roof" to show what i could look like (maybe with the stair model to simplify the creation of it)

    and an image of the mod more materials mods to show the wheat block stairs

    I strongly agree with this, with the next update supposed to be about expressing ourselves, adding in a way to properly put a roof on to our builds would be amazing.. it sucks to always have to turn to mods to be able to do some things that should just seem obvious.

    Considering how far Minecraft has come, a collection of different roofing materials would be a nice addition to the game
