Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    I disagree that iron, gold, chain, and diamond armor should be dyeable. It makes no sense - also, let leather armor have its fun. Being dyeable is its only advantage over the others!

    I do like your other idea a lot, though. Adding patterns to armor is a bit too much for me, but being able to decide which sections of your armor get dyed would be an awesome feature. It would open up the possibility of multicolored armor pieces. Nice!

    I agree that actually the only purpose to craft leather armor is that it is dyeable. That's why i suggested to add only a small detail to the other armor types that can be dyed.

    Because a full armor set covers a big portion of the player's skin. Being able to individualize the armor a litle bit would help to recognize other players faster. For example, adding a team color to the armor when playing a mini game with other players on a server. It is harder to differentiate when everyone has the same set of glowing enchanted diamond armor.

    I support your suggestion to add patterns to the armor. My original idea though was to use loom to choose what you want to dye – a badge or shoulder pads or certain stripes on the armor piece – and when adding a second color to decide if the color should be split vertically, diagonally, …

    It would be awesome to be able to apply a pattern to the center of the chest-plate as well.
