Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Letter Blocks

Why don't we have them? You know, like single blocks with letters and characters on them so when you, say, build an enormous subway network you can name the stations with big, clear letters. Or put marquees over the entrances of certain buildings. I know you can build a letter, but in my experience a five-letter word must be at minimum five blocks high and nearly twenty blocks wide.

    I have built some large ships and would like to be able to put the name on the side of the ship. A dinky little sign just doesn't do it. Also, these could be used to name buildings or towns. 

    They could be from all the different types of wood and stone, taking up a full block space.
