Crossbow Idea: Breaking Glass

Something I've always wanted to be able to do is break glass from a distance. I feel like crossbows should be able to do just that. In addition, maybe arrows shot from regular bows could break glass panes, whereas ones shot from crossbows could break both panes, and full glass blocks.  Enchantments should affect how this works, for example a punch bow should be able to break full glass blocks, and a piercing crossbow should be able to break multiple glass blocks just like it does for mobs.
