Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Umbrellas

I felt suddenly pity my game character working in the heavy rain.

so I thought what if we had umbrellas in here Minecraft?

If I hear the rain falling on the umbrella sometimes with Minecraft background music, it would be fantastic.

    It would be cool if the Umbrella would let you slowly glide when held, and would be something you find in dungeons

    Endermen and Snow Golems could pick up umbrellas and open them to protect themselves from the rain! You could totally recreate that scene from My Neighbor Totoro but with an Enderman... I think it would be a fun behavior for mobs that take damage from rain to have, and could open the doors for some emergent storytelling ❤️
