Music Frequency

I think there should be a slider added to the options menu to increase the frequency music plays. I think we can all agree Minecraft music is great, and adds to the emotion of playing and makes playing all the more fun and epic. However, the great periods of time between these rare songs, feels a bit awkward. For people who would like to listen to the music more, or even non-stop, maybe at a slider to decrease the amount of time between these songs, which would replace the normal songs at day, afternoon, and sunset system unless the slider was left at default. This slider could make the songs play less, if people would want the songs to be even rarer.

    seconded!! i play another game that has a slider like this and turning it up made that game a lot more fun. i think minecraft could benefit a lot from this!!

    Legacy did play on an infinite loop and it sucks that other versions don't so I'm all in.

    Yes! The PlayStation version loops the music continuously and I find it's nice background noise, but when it's missing omg it's awkward...

    I think this is a good idea. I honestly enjoy the soundtrack, and I find the long silence slightly annoying. It might be pretty helpful if you are working on a resource pack with custom music too.

    Yes I agree 100% Playing Minecraft in dead silence for 20 min intervals is no fun. Players should at least have an option for the music. Coming from console edition where the songs played back to back, bedrock feels dead silent. I cannot speak on behalf of Java, but i believe non of the editions did it as good as console. Back to back music or at least and option for it would go a long ways in improving the dead silence of Minecraft.

    So agree! I've tried just externally playing a loop of minecraft music, but it doesn't match the ambiance like the in game music.

    It always annoys me when there's a super long silence while playing Minecraft. As someone who doesn't play games very frequently and not for a long time it really stresses me out. Would absolutely love this.
