Cotton Wood/ Other types of wood in swamps

needs info

Right now, swamps really have no purpose, if they had an exclusive tree people might want to go through the swamp water to get this wood.

    Willow or cotton wood would be a little addition to add in the swamp biome; since there is no way of getting these trees in vanilla but mods...

    or maybe just make any oak trees that grow in swamps be the swamp tree shape by default, instead of the normal tree shape

    I agree that Swamps need updating. Adding a new tree here would definitely help. The planks could look like jungle wood planks but with a slight green tinge. The leaves could be like the Spruce Leaves that don't change colour and stay brown all the time. With the addition of this new wood type means a new Door, Trapdoor, Button, Pressure Plate, Fence, Fence Gate, and IDEALY Bookshelf and Chest. Would be great if this was added.

    Cotton could be used to make armor or a wool substitute.
