Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical slabs.

    Actually, I thought of this one more as a command-block issue for map-makers, but not only a means to produce mining fatigue in an area (which a command block can do) but "jitter" as an effect that is the flip-side of mining fatigue: you "jitter" too much to *PLACE* a block. The Jungle and the Desert Temple both suffer from, "I know how to easily defeat these with my trusty pickaxe." When I see a Desert Temple, I know what block to hit and dig straight down until I get close enough to pop the pressure plate, loot the precious TNT, check the loot in the chests, jump-place blocks back out and I'm gone. Zero danger. With the Jungle Temple: Pick-ax everything & loot, easy-peasy.

    Eldrielphor's suggestion takes care of the "pick-ax everything" problem. "Jitter" would solve the "jump-place blocks to reach things or block dangers" problem.

    Adventure mode is the "easy" solution to have this for map-makers. But if we want "Survival Mode for all except THIS area" such as generated Temples and Dungeons, a better tool to do JUST THAT would let Mojang make serious, interesting, challenging new dungeons in Vanilla. Even if this is done in command-block, "Anti-grief" for limited areas in Vanilla would be a huge boon.

    People could still blow stuff up with TNT.
