Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Pontoon Boats

 I am transcribing this from a handwritten letter from my son to Mojang:

Dear Makers of Minecraft,

I am liking your game, but the reason I am writing to you is because my Minecraft world seems to start getting boring.  So, I had an idea (below) that could change Minecraft forever.  Boats! If you can make this update to Minecraft, I will be pleased.  Thank you for your service.

    We already have boats.  I do not understand how a pontoon would be different.
