Make it rain in savanna biomes so that we can bless the rains down in Africa!

I think it is a logical fallacy that it is currently impossible to rain in a savanna biome in Minecraft. We want to bless the rains down in Africa whenever it rains in Minecraft, but how can we do that if it never rains in savannas? Please fix this and make it possible for the rains to pour down in savanna biomes too. I know that it's gonna take a lot to do this, but there's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do to stop us from fighting for this change! Thank you.

    THIS!!! Savannas DO have wet seasons, and thus the bugged lush green of the Bedrock Shattered Savanna could return. Since this is under review, the bug should become a feature and make it to Java Shattered Savanna biomes as well. Anything so that almost 5 years of my work wont be destroyed forever MOJANG PLEASE!!

    To be honest, this would be pretty useless and I think it would be better to update the biome itself, like adding baboa trees, elephants, and stuff like that.

    A realistic African savannah rainfall pattern is 'normal' rainfall in february to april & september to november.

    Then in the northern hemisphere it's frequent torential thunderstorms may to july and dry as a bone december to february, with wet and dry seasons reversed in the southern hemisphere.

    Should be quite feasible to track the IRL date and keep the rainfree pattern as is for the dry season, switch to standard biome rainfall for the equinox quarters, and then make all rain days thunderstorms in the wet season. 

    This way the wet season can be both blessed and a little scary too.

    And as an African resident, I'd feel quite at home!
